The high quality mulches we provide are made strictly from softwood trees and primarily from the bark of those trees. Softwood bark performs the intended function of mulch very well. It holds down weeds, retains moisture in your soil, and is resistant to artillery fungus which can be damaging to your property. Hardwood mulches can attract damaging insects, do not contain the rich organic matter that softwood bark provides, and is a favorite growing medium for the harmful artillery fungus. Protect your property by using only softwood bark mulch!

Hemlock Bark: Nature's best red! Made from 100% hemlock bark, no whole trees. Smells great and is a joy to work with. No dyes, all natural.

Fragrant Forest: This is a double-ground blend of spruce, fir, and pine bark. It has the aroma of a freshly cut Christmas tree and retains its cinnamon brown color very well. Holds well on slopes. No dyes, all natural.

Dark Bark: Triple-ground pine bark which has been composted for six months to a year. This results in a rich, dense mulch with excellent water retention. Great choice for poor soil conditions. Color enhanced.

Playground Mulch: Blond wood chips, great for paths and walkways.
